Post - Production

What techniques we will use and why

Post Production

The post production of any video or visual media is highly important as it also all clips taken to be fit together in a way that makes sense within the final product. It also helps to add obvious edits as they are conventional to certain genres such as slow motion in pop videos used particularly when the artist or performer is in motion.

Example of time lapse in video (0:16)

Example of fade (3:15)

We have decided to use fades, slow motion and a time lapse within the post production of our video, so that the raw footage can be more recognizable by our audience as pop genre.

The fade that we will use has been influenced by 'Lemar's If There's Any Justice' we have decided to use this feature in particular because it will be visually stimulating for our audience therefore helping to capture their attention and encourage repeated viewing.

OBVIOUS EDITS

Further Editing

As this is a music video and the structure does not follow the conventional continuity rule featured in films the structure will be based from the order that we place our footage within jump cuts however, we will also be reordering footage so that scenes will be repeated creating a form of structure.
