An overview/description of what your product will look like including ideas for colours, fonts, cover story and images.
My magazine will be a HipHop and RNB based magazine, aimed at females in London. This would be easier to research into as I can get feedback from many different females I know. Also, to create the magazine, I can get local people, friends or family to model and interview and get further feedback from. My magazine will have a variety of music based topics discussed in articles and upcoming artists and latest 'tunes' featured as well as interviews. I am planning my magazine to be quite aspiring and relatable for yioung girls of ages between 13 and 18. I also want it to be fun and entertaining to encourage girls to read more and get involved in a positive way. I will use a variety of feminine colours to express the 'girly' theme and to come across more appealing to the audience. I will layout the subheadings and hook stories appropriate to my chosen genre. I will also include a variety of images of aspirational, female ‘celebrities’ and latest news such as music updates, hiphop gossip, beauty tips from celebs and advice as well as fashion extracts. My magazine will be bright, eye-catching and appealing to my feminine audience. I will include the appropriate convergence such as social networks to promote my magazine further, as well as offer my audience more choice, which they may find relevant, for example, an online website in which they can access all articles via their phones or computers. I will also include cover stories that will engage my readers, relevant to my chosen genre. My main cover story will be a handwritten article, created by me, about a made up celebrity. The article will be based on her upcoming fame, and success. This is relevant to my magazine as I want it to aspire young girls.
