What have you learned about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

In the process of making this media product I have learned about:

  • The technologies used to record the film
  • The technologies used to edit a film
  • The technologies used to evaluate a finish product

Recording

While recording our film and its journey towards finish I have learned about how to use camcorder to record the view, boom mic to record the sound and photo camera to make our ident and also to record all of the shooting and movement taking place.

I found all three of these technologies complicated as they are all professional. I have learned that to use them properly and get the best results there is time and experience needed

Editing

To edit our film we had to learn how to use programs like Premiere Pro and Photoshop. These two programs were very useful as they allows to put the shots together, fix mistakes made while shooting the film and add all kinds of sounds including voice recordings, while they are still fairly easy to use.

To answer the evaluation questions I had to use at least 5 different presentation methods to show media use skills. These are the methods I have learned to use:

I found it hard to use some of them and I was not able to overcome my problems. For example, I could not use an embed code from emaze as it was not working and still I did not figure out why.
