Let’s look at horse racing tips for the Cheltenham Gold Cup…

Might Bite heads the market after winning the King George, with Sizing John and Djakadam faltering in the Leopardstown Christmas Chase, a race that Road To Respect won. Most will want E/W value, as the best price for Might Bite is 7/2. Killutagh Vic looked to be winning the Irish Gold Cup before a fall. Definitely Red also has impressive form.

When looking for betting tips, you may want to consider betting trends. The past 15 winners have been nine or younger, 14 of the last 15 had raced within the past three months, and 13 of the past 15 winners have won over a 3m/+ chase before, finished first or second last time out, run over fences at Cheltenham, and come from the first three in the betting. This all applies to the favourite. Currently second and third in the market are Sizing John and Native River. We are yet to see the latter this season, but he is scheduled to run before Cheltenham.

Hopefully, you now feel more prepared! There are bound to be more clues to form better horse racing tips over the next few weeks.
