Option 1

  • Define a master language
  • The initialisation and the content syndication is made only on this master language
  • Each country is free to translate the wanted contents locally
  • An easier implementation of user rights
    • admins which can access only their country site
    • a super admin which is accessing all country sites and also the master site

Pros

Syndication of a master language

  • When translating a content locally
    • it creates a copy of the original content
    • if the original content is updated, no update will be made on the local one
  • In the case of a language reused across the network, the contents should be exported and then imported
  • In the case that a country site is not using the master language, we have to find a way to "hide" it
  • If the master language is used on a country site, synchronisation rules has to be defined

  • Choose whatever contents are spread all over the network
  • A translated content in a language can be easily and quickly spread to other networks sites with the same language
  • The content initialisation and synchronization can be made automatically and/or continuously
  • Finally, each country site has the freedom to handle additional contents, which will be locally only

Pros

Option 2

Syndication of all languages

  • When translating a content locally
    • this is a copy of the original content which is made
    • if the original content get updated, the locally one won't
  • The user rights is more complexe
    • one super admin which can access all country sites and the master one
    • each country site admin, as admin, should be also granted access to the master one where there should be more rules to access only their "language"

Cons

Option 2

Syndication of all languages

TODO
