How did you use media technologies in the research, planning, construction and evaluation stages?
Throughout the process of this course I have used a range of different media technologies, firstly the main one that I used was Blogger, An online blog on which you can create posts and share links, this is what I used to keep track of all of my posts and keep everything up to date. It is a product of google so say if you have a google account, this means you can link your YouTube up with Blogger, making videos easier to share
Leading from this, one of the main media platforms that I used was YouTube, this allowed me to search for various products that I could gain inspiration from and also keep my channel up to date to show progress that I had made. I have also used Prezi which is a good way to create an interactive presentation that is much more interesting than any normal slideshow presentation, but if simplicity is your option, I have also used slide share which is a way of embedding PowerPoints that you have previously created, it is easier to use than Prezi but the outcome is not as effective

I have used Glogster to create mood boards for when I was deciding which
artist to use which allows you to create an online poster which can contains
images and videos, this is a good way to present a lot of information in one
place. I also used Jux which allowed you to create an interactive timeline of
pictures, videos and links, I used vuvox for my first post titled “Me as a
consumer of music” however the website has now closed down so this post is
unable to view, it was a very good way of creatively presenting work. All of
these products mainly helped me when I was in the research and planning stage
of my project
The camera that I mainly used was the Canon 1100D, I found this camera
was very easy to use and the results you got were extremely professional looking,
you could adjust the settings manually or you could set them to auto, I chose
to set them manually, which took more time, but I felt that I had more of an
input on the outcome of my video. For a lot of the shots up close to the sea I
used my phone which is an Xperia Z, I used this because its waterproof so I
could get close up shots without having to worry about the camera getting as
wet, the shots came out looking almost as good as the canon shots too, but due
to the change in cameras I had to change some of the sequence settings when
editing in Adobe Premiere Pro.

Premiere Pro is an effective way to compile footage together, It allows
you to edit them in a way that they look professional, you can add a variety of
effects, as I did, these effects that I used included: Black and white, Auto
contrast, Auto Brightness, Warp Stabiliser and also the ability to change the
hue and saturation, this was sort of like having Photoshop for your movie, This
was very useful
I used Adobe Photoshop CS6 for my Digipak and Advertisement, I had previously used the program so I was familiar with how to use it, you can manipulate any image into having it look the way you want, this helped me a lot with the tasks at hand as I could quickly come up with different designs and then quickly change them after receiving audience feedback, Photoshop gives you the tools to create professional looking images easily, I found that if I didn’t understand or know how to do something correctly I could find a YouTube tutorial with someone telling me how to do something and it was all relatively easy to pick up
