We are going to be filming at various locations and so it is important that we will be well planned and prepared for what we're going to be filming at each of these locations. Our storyboard will clearly show what we're going to film and where it will be filmed. We're going to film in a lot of city areas, parks and also in a bedroom.

LIVERPOOL STREET

Liverpool Street is a great place to film and there are many nearby locations which we're familiar with and can also film at. The lights on the floor near all the buildings is perfect for filming at night. The sculpture in Liverpool St Station is perfect to film especially as there are lights inside on the floor and will look great at night also. There is a nearby square with a small fountain and has a lovely atmosphere of nature and buildings combined. These places are busy most of the time and so will fit well with the theme of 'loneliness' as the girl is going to be by herself.

SOUTHBANK

South Bank is a very versatile place and there's many different places we can film. The book market is great to show the girls' passion for books as she is a creative individual. The skate park is also nice to film as the girl is exploring new things as she can see other young people who have a different hobby to her. We will also film on the bridge a lot and it's generally a calm and soothing atmosphere because of the water and lights.

LONDON BRIDGE

As we are going to be walking from place to place whilst filming, London Bridge is a perfect place to film especially because it connects to a lot of other popular city areas. It's also full of lights which are very colourful and bright and looks especially beautiful at night.

OXFORD STREET

Oxford Street is also very busy and we want the girl in the video to be surrounded by lots of people to express her loneliness. City areas also have a nice modern touch and we want to show that in our video. There are also nearby parks which we will consider filming at just to show the contrast between nature and the city.

OLD STREET

Old Street/Shoreditch has a lot of great locations we can film at such as nearby parks and the underground station and roundabout. A lot of indie videos look quite urban and we also want to achieve this look. It's also a great place because of all the graffiti and street art which is almost on every wall on every street so it's very useful.

HYDE PARK/FINSBURY PARK

Both Hyde Park and Finsbury Park will be nice places to film at, especially as we're going to have a lot of shots of trees/benches which will show isolation. There will also be some tracking shots of the girl walking on the grass and on the path (it's also a perfect opportunity for the establishing shots) to make it seem peaceful.

HEALTH & SAFETY

There are many things we need to consider whilst filming to ensure our health and safety and that we are responsible outside of the school environment.
When we are filming in the city areas, it's going to be busy with crowds of people and cars/buses. Before we film a scene, we will have to look around to make sure that we can start filming when appropriate and that we don't disturb anyone nearby or get hurt ourselves.
There might be shots which will involve me walking backwards to get the desired shot and we need to make sure that I don't trip/fall etc.
There may also be shots which involve the person with the camera filming from a certain height or on the edge of something (e.g. stairs) and it's important that they are being careful and looking around them before they start to film.
We might also use a tripod when filming and it can take up a lot of space if we place it on a pavement, so we need to ensure that people around are able to walk past without tripping over so we will need to supervise the camera at all times.
Another important factor which can be overlooked is the weather. It's usually very rainy in London and so it's important that we dress correctly, but also don't slip or trip on any wet surfaces, especially when we're filming fast scenes.
