Evaluation Q2)

In order to make the combination of our music video and ancillary effect, I used similar colours from the music video and carried them over into my digipak.

Evaluation Q2)

To start off with colours, because our music video had a dark theme to it we wanted to keep everything seemingly dark also, again this is in comparison the ab-soul video that inspired us

Evaluation Q2)

Similar colours were used in my ancillary, the colours were mainly black and grey, I thought that it would be appealing to the members of the audience if I stuck to the main colours being black and grey

Evaluation Q2)

By using different base tracks we followed Vernalis' theory, using a different number of base tracks would grab our audiences attention and keep them interested as to always look out for what will happen next in the video

Evaluation Q2)

Andrew Goodwin also spoke about the artist looking directly at the camera, this is also one of the conventions the me and my group focused on mainly, as throughout our music video the artist is constantly looking at the camera, which appeals to the audience as they feel that he may be telling them a story.

And again a different base track is used here and also different costume which doesn't bore the audience.

Ancillary Inspirations

By keeping the ancillary nice and simple this grabs the audiences attention.
