  • Think of a time something good happened to you (e.g. you met a friend for the first time, you got a new job, started a new hobby, etc.)
    • What happened?
    • Was it by chance, or did you create the conditions for it to happen? Did you work for it, or did you have support from others?
  • Look at the photos. What are the good luck stories about? What's the story?

  • Which person do you think was the ‘luckiest’?
  • Do you agree that people make their own luck? Why / Why not?
  • Do you think that you are a lucky person? Do you make the most of life's opportunities in a similar way to the people in the stories?
