- There are 4 libraries on campus - you may use any of them!
- The Harriet Irving Library (HIL) is the largest library, with the longest opening hours
- The IUC library holds our Science & Forestry Collections
- The Head Hall Library is home to Engineering & Computer Science
- The Law Library operates separately from the rest
- On the third floor of the HIL
- Makerspace with 3D printers, sewing machines and more
- Event space commonly used for defences, poster sessions, etc.
- Audio & Video recording studios
- Lightboard Studio
- Graduate Lounge (which you need to scan in to)
- Your UCard (physical or on your phone) is your library card
- We loan books, as well as laptops, chargers, tools, etc.
- Ask at the front desk of the library (and bring your UCard)
- You can also submit a Purchase Suggestion if we don't have something you think we should!

Where you search for books, articles, and more
- You can request items online, and then pick them up at any library location
- If we don't have something, we will do our best to get it for you from a partner library (if it's for research purposes)
Will populate Doc Del form!
How can they support my instruction?
- We can put physical materials 'on hold' for students in your course
- They can borrow physical materials for a short period of time (for instance, 2 hours)
- This system integrates with D2L and is designed to mimic your reading list structure
- Our staff ensure readings align with copyright best practices & the links work
- Send them your complete reading list (again, with as much info as possible)

OER are openly-licensed text, media, or other digital assets used for teaching, learning, and research

We can help you search for appropriate, high-quality OER for your courses

If we can't find one that fits perfectly, we can support you in adapting or creating your own!
- Librarian generated guides for specific subject areas, links to key reference material and database
- Your subject librarian will likely make a guide specific to your class upon request
- Librarians can come into your course and teach

5. Workshops & Toolkits
- We host a number of workshops throughout the school year on various topics
- We have an upcoming series titled Research Ready with UNB Libraries
- These sessions with walk your students through the research process and cover topics such as: UNB Library services, developing a search strategy, evaluating sources, and managing research
- Past & future events
- We also offer a Research Toolkit, which can asyncronously teach students research skills
