Task : Implement the AB Test Strategy for Spice Garden Use the Advantage Campaign Budget

Objective:

To perform A/B Testing on Meta advertisements and optimize campaign performance using Advantage Campaign Budget.

Open Meta Ads Manager

  • Log in to Meta Business Suite.
  • Navigate to Ads Manager.
  • Open an existing campaign or create a new campaign for testing.

Create Two Ad Variations

Create Version A and Version B of the same advertisement.
Modify only one variable between the two versions.

You can test one of the following:

  • Ad Creative (Image or Video)

  • Headline

  • Primary Text

  • Call-to-Action (CTA)

  • Audience

  • Placement

Keep all other campaign settings the same.

Configure the A/B Test

Enable the A/B Test feature in Meta Ads Manager. Select the variable you want to compare.

Choose:

  • Test Duration

  • Performance Metric (Example: CTR, CPC, Conversions)

Review the experiment settings before starting the test.

Enable Advantage Campaign Budget

Enable Advantage Campaign Budget (ACB) at the campaign level. Configure:

  • Daily Budget or Lifetime Budget

  • Campaign Schedule

Allow Meta to automatically distribute the budget among the ad sets based on performance.

Publish the Campaign

  • Campaign Objective

  • A/B Test Configuration

  • Budget

  • Audience

  • Placements

  • Advertisement Variations

Click Publish.

Monitor Campaign Performance

After the campaign begins delivering, review the performance of both ad variations.

Compare:

  • Reach

  • Impressions

  • Clicks

  • Click-Through Rate (CTR)

  • Cost Per Click (CPC)

  • Engagement

  • Conversions (if applicable)

Record the performance data.

Identify the Winning Advertisement

Analyze the campaign results.

Determine which advertisement performed better based on the selected performance metric.

Document:

  • Reason for Better Performance

  • Key Observations

Optimize the Campaign

  • Pause the lower-performing advertisement (if appropriate)

  • Continue with the winning variation

  • Adjust budget allocation if required
