The Cycle of Fear
Violent news are reaching us widely.
The human brain - in it’s task to
protect us -responds with fears and anxieties.
People in survival mode
perceive entire communities as a threat.
Unprocessed fear makes us stay away from people,
without differentiating between real and perceived threats.
Limited contact to marginalized groups further solidifies our negative perceptions.
Fear and marginalization rule the day, undermine
collaboration and increase the dangers of new attacks.
