# Save a deck as a PDF

[Canonical article](https://slides.com/docs/export-to-pdf)

Available on: Lite / Pro

Sharing a deck on Slides is usually as simple as [sending a link](/docs/sharing-decks), but a single PDF file can be more convenient for archiving, attaching to an email, or sharing with people who prefer a document. To export a PDF, open the **Export** panel in the editor sidebar and select **Download PDF**.

PDF exports do not support animations or iframes. If you need an export that keeps your deck fully interactive offline, use an [HTML export](/docs/export-to-html) instead.

## Export options

Select **Options** beside **Download PDF** to choose what the PDF includes:

- **Print slide numbers** adds a number to each page.
- **Print speaker notes** includes your [speaker notes](/docs/speaker-notes).
- **Print fragments on separate pages** creates a page for each step of your [fragments](/docs/fragments).

The slide number and speaker note options start from your deck's [Slide numbers](/docs/slide-numbers) and [Share notes](/docs/sharing-decks-with-speaker-notes) settings. Slides remembers the options you choose for your next export.

Use **Margin** to set the amount of space between your content and the edge of the page.
