Videos

Add a video block when motion, a demonstration, or recorded footage explains an idea better than a static slide. Videos can sit alongside other content or fill the slide as a background.

Add a video

  1. Select Video from the insert toolbar.
  2. Choose a video from your uploads or your team's media, upload a new file, or select Insert from URL.
  3. Move and resize the video on the slide.

Select the video to show or hide playback controls and configure autoplay, mute, and looping. You can also replace the video, choose a poster image, add a link or animation, and adjust its size, position, opacity, border, and corner radius.

Autoplay behavior can be restricted by the viewer's browser. Muting an autoplaying video gives it the best chance of starting automatically.

Use a video as the slide background

Right-click the video to open its context menu, then select Use video as slide background. You can manage it later from the slide's background settings. Learn more about video backgrounds in Slide backgrounds.
