Audience Feedback
I created a questionnaire for my target audience to complete which provided helpful feedback on what they thought of my indie music magazine. The results gave me useful comments on how I could improve my product and gave me an insight into what my audience thought of my product.
Question 1
Question 1 asked my audience if the images I used for my contents page, front cover and article were professional. 100% of those who completed my questionnaire said that the photos were professional and, as a result of this, I will keep all of the photographs used in my magazine the same.

Question 2
Question 2 also referred to the images I used in my magazine and asked my audience if they were suitable for the genre of music I have chosen. Again, all respondents agreed that the images were appropriate, therefore I will not make any changes to them.

Question 3
Question 3 asked my audience of any improvements they would make to the front cover of my indie magazine and provided them with space to write down all of their thoughts. There were various comments of how to make my front cover more appealing, including making the masthead darker and bolder, making the features bigger and clearer, etc.

Question 4
Question 4 asked my audience of any improvements they would make to the contents page of my magazine. Respondents gave advice such as, making the feature images larger and changing the font of the content to make it clearer and bolder. Another response was to add more emphasis to the main image by enlarging it and add grids to the whole page to increase professionalism.

Question 5
Question 5 asked my audience of any improvements they would make to the double-page spread. There were a lot of comments about the font of the article itself and how it wasn't very clear or easy to read. As a result of these comments I will improve my article page by changing the font. As well as this I will add more colour to the page and vary the size of the images I have used.

Question 6
Question 6 provided my audience with 5 stars to rate my overall magazine out of 5. I chose this questions because it gives me an insight into how close the style of my magazine is to the liking of my target market. Majority of respondents rated my magazine a 3 or 4 out of 5, meaning that they like it.
Question 7
Question 7 is related to the responses of question 5 because asked my audience if they thought the article was clear enough to read and, as predicted from the results of question 5, over half of respondents replied no. Because of these results I will enlarge the font size of my article or change the font so that it is much clearer.
Question 8
Question 8 referred to the colour schemes of my magazine. I have used different colours for each section of my magazine as I found this in various indie magazines when researching conventions and I think it gives an independent effect to the magazine. I asked respondents this question as I needed to ensure that each colour was complimentary and they are.
