Once upon a time, there was a old women who loved to cook. She lived by herself on a farm. One day she thought of baking a gingerbread man. She decorated it with cherries, licorice, candies and chocolate. It looked as if it was a real person but a gingerbread man. She put it in the oven and baked it.

The gingerbread man smells good. The women can't bare any longer but to eat it. As soon as she got hold of the gingerbread man it jumped out of the open window and ran yelling " Please don't eat me!"

The old lady looked but didn't chase and said nothing. The gingerbread man didn't turn back and said to the pigs "Run as fast as you can! You can't catch me, I'm the gingerbread man!" 

Running away from the pigs he came across a horse. The horse was hungry so he followed the gingerbread man. The gingerbread man didn't turn back but said "Run as fast as you can! You can't catch me, I'm the gingerbread man! 

It wasn't soon when he came cross an angry farmer. He yelled "Stop! You're ruining my farm!" But the gingerbread man didn't stop. He did not turn back and said "Run as fast as you can! You can't catch me, I'm the gingerbread man! The farmer got angrier so he decided to join the chase!

The gingerbread man for a long time and he was starting to get tired. Finally they came across a river. If the gingerbread man continues he was soon going to be eaten.

The gingerbread man finally came to an end. The only path to his life is jumping into the river. So he did rather than being eaten by the pig and the horse.
