Nothing you will be asked to do in this class is too difficult to figure out. But sometimes it will take some googling and help from your classmates.
Tech questions? Google it. Read documentation. Watch tutorials. Post a question to the Slack #help channel. Share resources in #help too!
Historical questions? Bring your questions about the readings to class and we'll figure them out together. You have to show me that you understand the material in your assignments, so use class time to make sure you're prepared.
Golden rule: If in doubt, use the #help channel.
Sort this out early. This course has a lot of moving parts, so find a system that works for you.
Don't wait until an assignment is due to start learning a tool. Experiment with it early and it will be easier to go back to later.
Starting early means you can troubleshoot problems early.
Hit a snag? See what you can find online.Use the #help channel. Discuss and share resources together, and I'll chime in if you can't figure it out. (Technical difficulties are not a good excuse for late assignments.)
