Prezi & Slides

Prezi

  • Prezi was used for Question 3 of the Evaluation - it was used to analyse how our ancillaries were connected with our music video.
  • Prezi is a online presentation software.
  • Prezi is similar to Powerpoint in the sense that it is a presentation software/app. The difference is that Prezi presents by moving onto different slides of a single large presentation slide rather than moving straight onto another slide, like Powerpoint.
  • This makes the presentation intriguing to the viewer.

Advantages & Disadvantages

Advantages

  • Intriguing presentation.
  • Fancy effects.
  • Variety of templates.
  • Simple to use when adding images & moving them around.

​Disadvantages​

  • Quite complicated when adding more slides & then trying to put them in the right order.
  • Requires constant internet access - difficult or cannot be downloaded.

Slides

  • Slides was used for Question 4 of the Evaluation - it was used to analyse what technologies we have used for the Evaluation.
  • Slides is an online presentation software.
  • Slides is quite similar to Prezi in the sense that it is one large presentation. However, unlike Prezi, Slides does not zoom out. Instead, it just slides onto the next slide.

Slides

Advantages

  • Simple to use.
  • Large presentation slides.

​Disadvantages​

  • If the slides go all over the place (i.e. the next slides are up, down right, left), the viewer may get confused or view the presentation in the wrong order.
