Carrie

I have chosen these three shot types. The reason for this is that the first shot shows her being isolated from the whole school. The rule of three on the shot is good as shes in the center while everyone else is far right and in the background. The second shot is also useful to us as you can see her evil smile. The overhead close up shot also makes her look vulnarable but once she discovers her powers she becomes powerful as seen in the next photo which is a low angle shot.

Goodnight Mummy

I have chosen these three shot types from Goodnight Mommy. The reason for this is that the first shot makes the audience focus on the mothers disfigurement.  In addition to this the dark lighting makes the scene eerie and scary. The second shot is also another good scene as we can see the clash between the mother and her son. This is seen from the space between them and the mother looking down at her son to show her power. The last shot is also good because it still doesn't show the female identity and only shows parts of the scars. Leaving the audience to question who is she?

Unfriended

I have chosen these four shot types from Unfriended. The reason for this is that these shots creates happy emotions for the audience. It is a really good way to catch the audience by making them think that the trailer is not a horror.  The shots are also useful as our killer uses the internet to show his killing to get attention and in this we see how they incorporate the internet with horror.

Unfriended

I have chosen these another four shot types from Unfriended. These shots are shown right after the happy scene which lasted 25 seconds. We then see a typo which say But So Do Your Mistakes which changes the mood of the video. We follow a girl who is partying and being filmed, this is anonymously posted to the internet and is then followed by hate comments.  We then see the woman committing suicide. This was a good trailer and useful to us as it focuses on the theme bullying and this is one of our themes.

We see happy videos that are posted onto the internet. But a person posts an embarrassing video of a woman. People mock her on social media and she walks into school isolated and lonely but she discovers that she can kill people as a way to relieve the stress.
