5. The problem of sin

Objective: 1. Teach the 3 realities of sin: Iniquity, Transgression and Sin. 2. Teach that these realities are clearly exposed in the OT and the NT. 3. Show that for the Gospel to free us from the problem of sin, it must free us from the 3 realities of sin. 4. Prepare the audience to begin the explanation of how the Gospel sets us free in 3 phases.
