Target audience for teen films

I understand that although teen film are targeted at teenagers and adolescents they have a wider audience. This is because teen films could bring feelings of nostalgia to older audiences. 

My target audience

I have targeted teenagers and adolescents in my teen film opening however i undestand that my teen film opening could appeal to younger audience from the ages 13 - 16 which is below the ages of my intended target audience.

My target audience is from the ages of 16 - 21 years however i understand that older people may find it appealing as it can be nostaligic.

My teen film opening can be regarded as appealing to females more strongly than males because of the two main characters being female. However i believe that males can find the themes of crime, drugs and sex appealing. And also the sub genre of urban drama. have targeted my teen film opening to teenagers and adoelscents who are living in urban areas especially london because they could relate to the struggles the protagionist faces in the film.
