THERE'S SOMETHING IN THE AIR...
Chalk Talk
- Nearly always folded sheet metal
- Finish is always "whiteish" or "doesn't matter"
- Generally just an ugly large box
- Can be implemented with sealing for wet locations
CONSTRUCTION, COLOR & FINISH
INDUSTRIAL VS. ARCHITECTURAL EMERGENCY LIGHTS
INDUSTRIAL
- Sometimes are die cast metal, but more often constructed of plastics
- Usually nicely textured and available in "controlled' white and black (sometimes even a custom color)
- Plastic designs are generally not compatible with gasketing/sealing for wet locations (damp locations are generally okay)
ARCHITECTURAL

THERE'S SOMETHING IN THE AIR...
Chalk Talk
- Not designed...
- For industrial spaces
- Big ugly lamp heads with standard lamps
- Smaller, flatter
- Attempts to hide the light sources
- Moving parts for installation flexibility, but not all the way to large bulky lamp heads
- Attempting to be inconspicuous

THERE'S SOMETHING IN THE AIR...
Chalk Talk
- Basic off-the-shelf lights
- Basic off-the-shelf broad beam patterns
- Okay for most applications, not great in any of them...
BEAM ANGLES & THROW
INDUSTRIAL VS. ARCHITECTURAL EMERGENCY LIGHTS
INDUSTRIAL
- Highly optimized for indoor spaces
- Often utilize custom lenses for non-generic beam patterns
ARCHITECTURAL
INTRODUCING THE AIR
- Un-obtrusive design allows the AIR to stay close to the wall
- Most jobs won't require the LEDs to be moved at all
- Available in black and white finishes

- This took more time and effort than the entire rest of the project
The star of the AIR is the custom designed optics
OPTICS & PERFORMANCE
Accommodates many mounting scenarios
- Max mounting height: 28'
- Max Spacing: 121'
- Lumens: 1680 (!)
Optics are designed to throw light long and narrow

FLEXIBILITY
Remote Capacity
- The unit can auto-detect the presence of a remote lamp head
- The AIR will reduce local power and provide 5W of remote lamp capacity
ISOLITE
THERE'S SOMETHING IN THE AIR...

MEET THE AIR
- Lamp heads fold out for high-mounting applications
- Lamp heads fold forward for perpendicular throw applications
- Lamp heads fold out as well as forward to accommodate multiple applications
