WHAT ABOUT BABA?

BAA & TAA

ISOLITE

INVERTER BREAKERS

Chalk Talk

- Makes no allowance for products that are manufactured in the US but from         foreign sourced subcomponents

- We are not able to make the statement that our BAA/TAA compliant products     are also BABA

- Waivers and exemptions exist, reach out to us and we can work with you

NOW WE'RE TALKING ABOUT BREAKERS

GEAR SHIFT...

- Over current protection is required for branch circuits

- Small inverters are fed by branch circuit protection

Safety

WHY DO WE NEED BREAKERS?

BREAKERS

ISOLITE

INVERTER BREAKERS

Isolation & Maintenance

- Emergency lights must be disconnected to do electrical work

- Having zones isolated allows for maintenance of smaller groups of fixtures

Functionality & Control

- Breakers allow for switched and normally off behavior in larger inverters

- Breakers allow for switched and normally off behavior in larger inverters

- Smaller inverters do this without breakers

- E3MINI and E3U products don't have breaker options, they're           protected internally and by the 20A branch circuit breaker

Smaller Inverters

WHEN MIGHT WE NOT NEED BREAKERS

Downstream Breaker Infrastructure

- Larger inverters can provide all their power on a non-                   breakered output if it's feeding a MLO/main breaker panel         downstream

- The inverter is protected by the feed breaker and input               breaker, the loads are protected by the downstream branch       circuit breakers

- Maintenance requires de-energizing the inverter

- Generally ABB for branch circuit breakers

We Designed E3, E3MAC, E3MAX With Specific Breakers

Option selection does impact the number of breakers available

- Set number of breakers for each output voltage in a mixed voltage system

- Multi-pole output breakers

We can accommodate requests for custom breaker configurations...

Generally, come up with some other type of customization
