This is a very effective shot. It introduces what the genre of music is going to be. This is a good shot to think about because we want to start the music video correctly and also effectively.
This extreme close up of the supposed artist is one of the shots in this because it shows the emotion on the song and also suggests the concept of this song. For my music video I would like to include a shot like this which show these emotions and also show off the concept.

From this other groups music video their use of extreme close ups and also the opening long shot are two creative ideas which this group has used. These two examples of shots would be great shots to include in our pop music video using the extreme close ups and also the long shot will allow the audience to see our artist through a variety of shots.

The low key lighting which is used throughout this music video has been used very effectively. It suits the song and also the genre. For a low budget project this mise en scene convention has been used very well.

This group has great ideas for mise en scene. Because this song which this group has used is not of the same genre which me and my group are using the effect wouldn't be the same for the example of the low key lighting which is used. But for the use of the make up using the color red to create a representation is a good idea to use for our pop music video maybe not using make up but using a convention of mise en scene to create a similar effect.

In this shot the pace of the shot has been has been increased. This is a good editing technique which has been used and it can be easily added in into my music video.
This dissolve is also a good editing technique which has been used by this group. It's an a effective techniques which allows both shots to be linked. This would be a good editing technique for my group to use because it adds more creativity.

From this group they use good editing techniques some of the techniques which they used are would be good ideas for our music video. For example this group used fast pace editing plus increasing the pace of the shot this could look very effective in our pop music video because it's a rare thing to see in a pop music video.

HAVING A GOOD OPENING SHOT SETS UP THE REST OF THE MUSIC VIDEO SO ITS GOOD TO HAVE A GOOD OPENING SHOT.

THIS SHOT ALLOWS US TO SEE ON OF THREE LOCATIONS THIS SPECIFIC ONE IS WHERE THEY DO THEIR MAIN PERFORMANCE. HAVING A LOCATION LIKE THIS IS GOOD FOR A MUSIC VIDEO IT ALLOWS ALL THE MEMBERS TO STAND OUT BECAUSE OF THE LIGHTING A THE SPACE IS BIG ENOUGH FOR ALL THE MEMBERS TO DO THEIR PERFORMANCE.

Looking at this group they've chosen their locations extremely well having the studio plus their use of mirrors allow the artists to get revealed individually. These creative ideas would be a good addition to my groups music video.

DURING THIS MUSIC VIDEO THE CUTS ARE AT A GOOD PACE. THE EDITING TECHNIQUE OF CROSS CUTTING IS USED BETWEEN ALL THE THREE LOCATIONS AND ALSO MONTAGE EDITING IS USED AT THE START WHEN A FEW OF THE ARTISTS ARE SHOWN OFF WHEN THEY PLACED AT THE MIRROR. ALL THESE TECHNIQUES ARE GOOD EDITING TECHNIQUES TO USE WHEN COMING TO MAKING A MUSIC VIDEO AND I WOULD LIKE TO SEE THEM PUT INTO MY GROUPS MUSIC VIDEO.

From this groups use of editing we can take some of the editing techniques which they have used and fit them in into our music video because some of the ideas for editing which they've put into their music video makes it look more professional. The use of montage editing and cross cutting are two very good editing techniques which this group has used using these techniques in my groups music video will allow to look at its best.
