• Cuba with the help of Russian aid, agreed to let Russia use missiles on their territory in exchange for resources.
• In 1961, the U.S. invaded Cuba with highly trained marines. The invasion was a fail. The marines were taken prisoners. 20 months later they were released at a $53000000 worth of baby food and medicine.
