Officer Elections
Procedure
You are the main leader who forges ACM at UCR’s future. You ensure that the club does not stray away from its main goals.
To do this, you ensure that the officers follow a general workflow so that each officer can stay on task. You offer advice and connect with your officers. You also provide feedback to officer ideas.
You also communicate with BCOE faculty and staff and technical professionals outside of UCR.
Candidates:
You are a leader and the Chair’s right-hand person who helps forge ACM at UCR’s future. You assist the Chair in facilitating the general workflow for all officers. You remain tight communication with the Chair and ensure strong communication within the officers.
In the event that the Chair cannot make it to important professional business or technical meetings, you are there to speak on behalf of the Chair.

Intermission!
You are a leader who gathers and keeps track of a group of volunteers who want to get involved with ACM at UCR’s activities. You delegate these volunteers to officers who need assistance for i.e. Career Path Program, Mentorship Program, community outreach projects and clubroom maintenance. You work together with the event coordinator to figure out ways to show volunteers appreciation for their volunteer work.
Candidates:
You are a leader who communicates to students outside of the club about our professional organization and what we have to offer. You distribute the Marketer’s advertisements at tabling, orientation, and at classrooms to inform aspiring engineers about the opportunities
You also keep track of the people who want to sign-up as a club member. You are also responsible for ensuring that every club member receives their membership benefits
i.e: t-shirts, locker privileges, etc.
Candidates:
You are a leader who plans, manages, and schedules events. You also ensure the event does not clash with either UCR campus events (Heat, Block Party, etc) or professional development events (STEM Career Fairs).
You maintain the ACM calendar, and you notify the secretary of any changes to the schedule. On the day of the event, you are also in charge of room reservations, creating and maintaining different kinds of registration forms and statistics on members attending each event.
Candidates:
You are a leader who advertises events made by ACM at UCR. To do this, you take photos at ACM events, design and create fliers and posters for all events that are necessary for advertisement. You are also willing to work with the Campus Graphic Designer for advice and flier checks to ensure professional design.
Candidates:
You are a leader who sends e-mail notifications to club members and knows the scheduling of events and meetings for the officers. You remind the officers’ of their important meetings. You also attend Leadership Council meetings, Officer meetings, and other committee meetings and take notes. You also stay organized and keep track of the events scheduled for each month and inform all officers of the upcoming schedule.
Candidates:
You are a leader who manages ACM at UCR’s finances. You attend any event or meeting revolving around money management (ASUCR). This means you manage the log book of finances, keep track of money donations, manage reimbursements, and advise or oversee budget costs for events, general meetings, and rewards.
