Keystone Lintels Limited was founded in 1989, and now operates from Swadlincote (South Derbyshire) and Cookstown (Northern Ireland).
The company manufactures steel lintels and brickwork support systems for distribution throughout the UK and Ireland. In 2006 Keystone obtained IG Lintels, their strongest competitor in the market. Today the combined forces of Keystone and IG Lintels makes The Keystone Group lintels division the largest steel lintel manufacturer in the UK and Ireland.
In 2015, IG Masonry Support Systems entered the market. This brand is one of the fastest growing companies within the group.
Combining optimum performance with design flexibility, IG Masonry Support has developed a revolutionary brick on soffit system which radically reduces on site labour. IGMSS offers solutions which increase safety, accuracy and ease of installation.
Keylite Roof Windows was founded in 2001 and operates from Burton Upon Trent (East Staffordshire), Cookstown (Northern Ireland) and Zambrow (Poland).
The company offers a full range of roof windows, flashings, electric operation kits, loft ladders, blinds and accessories. Today Keylite is Europe’s fastest growing Roof Window manufacturer.
IG Elements was founded in 2011 and operates from Overseal and Woodville (South Derbyshire).
The company provides quality offsite solutions with their GRP products for the expanding housing sector. Including dormers, canopies, chimneys, bay roofs and door surrounds. IG Elements has the capacity to meet large volume demands making them an efficient supplier to well known national house builders across the UK.
Smartroof joined The Keystone Group in 2012 and operates from Swadlincote (South Derbyshire) and Cwmbran (South Wales).
Smartroof provides a complete, eco-friendly, structural timber, insulated room-in-roof panel system, creating instant useable space in large volumes. Smartroof currently supplies its roof panel systems to many of the largest house builders across the UK.
Timber Engineering
In 2017, The Keystone Group and Wyckham Blackwell signed a Strategic Partnership Agreement to focus on new product design, integrated sales initiatives and sharing manufacturing best practice.
With Wyckham’s heritage in the UK Roofing market, Keystone saw many potential synergies across the company. Wyckham’s timber solutions, enhancing the speed and quality of construction has mutually aided positive progression.
Timber Engineering
Later in 2017, The Keystone Group and Wyckham Blackwell acquired 50% of Timber Innovations Ltd. The strategic agreement was to focus on sharing total timber engineering solutions, developing new and improved off site construction options as well as financial and purchasing support.
The partnership with TI, a timber frame super structure business, has helped all companies reach a wider customer base.
Timber Engineering
In 2018, The Keystone Group and Wyckham Blackwell announced their joint acquisition of Crendon Timber Engineering. This joint venture has brought the timber division of the Keystone Group to a new level.

Keyfix Limited was founded in September 2019 and operates from Swadlincote (South Derbyshire) and Cookstown (N.Ireland).
Keyfix specialises in the development of non-combustible cavity systems for projects requiring Document B compliance in buildings over 18m high utilising steel frame systems in the external cavity.
