Non Interactive

  • There is no GUI or visual file transfer client. The local file manager is the GUI.
  • All transfer are done in the background.
  • Runs as service (Windows Service or Unix Daemon)
  • A single SFTPPlus Client can handle transfers for multiple remote servers, each with a different set of credentials or different file transfer protocol.

Transfer Types

  • Check identity of remote SSH server

Transfer Execution

  • start at a specified time
  • active inside a configured transfer window
  • repeat successful transfers based on configured rules
  • retry failed transfers based on configured rules
  • wait for local or remote files to become "stable"

File Manipulation

  • remove and/or archive files after transfer
  • add timestamp to avoid duplicate files
  • create / upload / download MD5 checsums
  • provide hooks for custom operations
  • call external command before and after transfer
  • call external command after failures
  • call PGP command line tool as external command
  • call external file archive tools
