How have you been creative and used your own designs to develop conventions?
In my magazine I have used some text, fonts and image's that you might see in some real Magazines.
Text:
I have used text on my DPS that you may see on a magazine as I have done a article/ interview with the flood lights and you could see something like this in Q as they have a lot of intervues with pop and rock stars.

In my magazine I have used some text, fonts and image's that you might see in some real Magazines.
Fonts:
I have used a range of fonts that I have piced just for the magazine and I have used some fonts just for the name of the band. you can see this in other magazines such as Kerrang were they used a font just for the 'foo fighters' and make it stand out from the text. I have also used this for the name 'Floodlights' as this is a big feature of the magazine.

In my magazine I have used some text, fonts and image's that you might see in some real Magazines.
Images:
I have used many images that may also look like some images that big magazine such as Q magazine and they will use different angels for different artists so I tried to use this in my magazine for my contents page.

I have used a lot of different texts for the magazine where as some magazines would have one or two I have change some of them so that they would be different and be able to catch the eye of the reader.

Images:
some of The images that I have used for my magazine look a lot different to the magazines that we may see in the shops and this will give my magazine a little twist compared to for example kerrang magazine.

Fonts:
I have used some different fonts compared to some magazines such as Q magazine with their Q in a plain font I have opted for a more bold/bubble font that with be hind the image.

layout:
A lot of the layouts that I have seen have been a lot like this on the left but also a lot of people of my class have went for something like this so with me opting for a different layout compared to most people this would make my magazine stand out compared to competition.
