Data-Driven Response Model of Gaia XP Spectra from Gaia Alerts

Using the SN Ia, we are looking to build a simple response model from spectroscopically classified SN Ia to rebuild a simple response model and get approximate flux calibrated XP spectra before Gaia DR4.

We are building an approximate global BP/RP response model using SN Ia discovered in the Gaia Alerts. Our aim is to provide approximate flux calibrations for the BP/RP Gaia alerts

We introduce GaiaAlertsPy a Python package to interact and download Gaia Alerts data. More features are required, and currently seeking community input on capabilities of package!
