Initial Design

Wireframe Flow

• Worked on flows of each screen
• Got really detailed about what i wanted the app to do
• Ultimately, this wasn’t right, and I need to work on user flows

• Facebook Local - find local events, but no covid filter option along with a support artist feature
• Twitch - allows the user to stream, and get paid directly. I wanted people to find artists through the app and then support them through there.
• Drive-Ins: advertised themselves as being a covid socially distance event, but we need more variety of events without cars

Musician

• how to filter items: find your friends and see what performers they are seeing

• Not everyone recognizes icons the same way
• It was hard to find the events page to create an event
• You can create an event, but there was no option to make sure the event followed covid guidelines
• You can’t filter for events that are following covid guidelines
• The App did not reach goals

User Testing Analysis

Goal 1: The Musician should be able to create an event, and then indicate if the event itself is a covid regulated event

Goal 2: Attendees are able to donate and support their artists only after they connect the payment account. Musicians are able to receive money by adding their information as well.

Goal 3: Attendees were able to search for events using their location, time, date. Also, the ability to add friends to find which events their friends had also rsvp’d too.

 

• The app was supposed to be about the musician, it soon became about the attendee. The design became more focused on how to get the attendee to the musician.

 

Summary & Review

While musicians are the ones who create the show, there is no show without the audience.
