  • What's it for?

    • Requires nikeplus or facebook account
    • iPod touch does not support GPS
    • Continued use of GPS running will decrease battery life

    • Taking your heart rate using your phone/device
  • Why we love it
    • Uses your phone's camera to detect the pulse from your fingertip
    • leveraging similar technique as used in pulse oximeters
  • Gotchas
    • Works best with iPhone 4/4s/5 and devices that have camera flash
    • Make sure fingertip completely covers the camera lens
    • Don't press finger too hard
