Procrastination

Symptoms

  • Know what to do, what needs to be done, can't bring myself to start
  • Hard to get anything done before midday
  • Making excuses to not contact people
  • Constant mess with no real need to clean it up
    (unless people are coming over)
  • Waiting till I can feel the pressure then hyper-focusing

Implusivity

Symptoms

  • Sudden burning desire which you must drop everything for (to go to ikea RIGHT NOW drop everything 3 hours gone, but when deferred this seems far less important later)
  • Hard controlling impulses around dopamine tasks (porn, computer games, weed)
  • Constantly changing hobbies (seem to discard them when no longer novel)
  • Doing other small self-identified tasks
    (fix the build, come up with a new organising system)
    (seem to choose novel or challenging tasks)

Inattention

Symptoms

  • Have trouble concentrating on conversations
    (especially when emotional)
  • Having trouble navigating highly abstract code
    (lots of windows, getting lost all the time)
  • Wrote a 300 word social post, took an hour, and quintuple checked it and still had errors, had to repost 3 times for grammar (note emotional)
  • Previous work report called out attention to detail for variable names (note not emotional)

Memory

Symptoms

  • Where did I put my thing?
    (keys, wallet, phone, vape, etc.)
  • Cant remember important sentence 30 seconds ago
  • Trouble remembering age 7-9
  • Very little memory before age 7
  • Memory function seems modulated by emotion?

Sleep

Symptoms

  • Great difficulty getting to sleep
  • Great difficulty getting up
  • Delayed sleep phase
    (ideal seems to be 2am-10am)
  • Poor sleep quality
  • Sleep Apnea

Time

Symptoms

  • Chronically late (for social events, this has been modulated recently by a strong desire not to disappoint my friends)
  • Misjudge time to get back to meeting from surfing
  • Magical approach to time (I can put this task that will take 1-2 days off because I can cram it into half a day with the help of some adrenaline)
  • Can't seem to do the same as others without spending much more time

  • Singing and humming
    (in spite of it annoying others)
  • Restless legs (bouncing leg)
  • Playing with things
    (pen flicking while working, throwing things while working round a supermarket, hardware store)
  • Doodling (not so much without workbooks)
  • Cracking my knuckles
