HOW DOES YOUR PRODUCT ENGAGE WITH AUDIENCES AND HOW WOULD IT BE DISTRIBUTED AS REAL MEDIA TEXT?
Engaging with audience:
The young cover star can be seen having a very youthful demeaner. Her eyes are bright and her look is intricate. By her facial expressions, it can be seen shes a really young star on the journey to stardom that will influence teenagers. Hence, many people will feel a sence of connection to the magazine.
The tagline under the masthead says 'fashion, lifestyle and films'. As popularly known, teenagers are increasingly interested in fashion and specially in this time of social media, the authentic fashion guide is still derived from magazines. Popular fashion magazines like vogue and elle have their own instagram, twitter and facebook pages that not only promote their website articles, but make such a mass audience become insterested in their monthly issues that they can not resist buying those magazines themselves.
Porcelines website is also highlighted for the same purpose.
The trends of wild hairstyles and unconventional hair colours is extremely popular these days. Kylie Jenner, Rihanna and many more teen influencers are pioneers of the colourful wig trend. With a youthful star having such a look that will inspire young adults, the audience of the magazine will further increase.
The use of bright colours also increases the attention the cover will gain. I personally always get attracted by bright colours rather than simple pastels. The use of such eyegrabbing colours will further increase the audience attracted to the cover.

The audience of my magazine is mostly teenagers and young adults and as I mentioned earlier in the previous question as well, the teenage population in pakistan is very vast and they are increasingly impressed by teenage influencers. The pakistani movie industry is constantly on the grow and new teen and tween movie stars are emerging in todays time. I believe this is the correct time to make a magazine regarding a tween star on the grow because the audience is already increasing so vastly.
As mentioned in my blog as well my magazine cover, the genre of my magazine is fashion and lifestyle. This survey that I conducted shows that about 79% of the people that answered the blog perfer fashion and lifestyle magazines. This shows the magazine already has a vast audience.
In relation to the double spread, the age of my cover star, melina is 21. The young age and her work in romantic comedies is set to make her a mega star. Stars like Kaia Gerber, Lily Rose Depp and Chloe Grace Moretz are extremely popular and a star around the same age group is set to catch teenage and young adult attention.

The fashion trends that are popular these days:
Band t-shirts from the 90s, high waisted jeans, bomber jackets and bold prints like plaid and stripes are all found in abundance in major stores like Zara, H&M, Bershka and Forever 21. These fashion trends are all associated with the popular 90s and my magazine highlights similar fashion trends, hence making it popular amongst the masses for fashion inspiration.

The target audience for my magazine is mostly women and young girls. The survey I concluded shows that women read more fashion magazines than men and it concluded the audience that would read my magazine.
Although the cover star is 21 and her influence will mostly affect teenagers, the relation to the 80s and 90s and a retro look opens this magazine to a whole new audience. As mentioned earlier in the previous question and my blog, the women that read the most magazines are aged at about 35-50 and during the 80s and 90s, they were teenagers themselves so looking at fashion from their own era will attract them and make them buy the magazine themselves.
Women will want to see how todays fashion is similar to fashion from their own times.

The expressions of the model are also very eye grabbing and audience will be intruiged.
The correct expressions are extremely important when it comes to the audience being attracted to the media. In the pictures seen above, the expressions of the model are so intricate that it almost seems as if she is hypnotising the audience to buy the magazine. Hence I chose a model that would be able to give me the exact expressions I was looking for.
The intricacy of expressions can clearly be seen in these examples.

In todays age of internet and social media, like I mentioned before, magazines greatly use the benefits of social media accounts and websites to promote their magazines. The covers of magazines are posted and advertised to a great extent.
My magazine will be distrbuted to almlost all bookstores and grocery stores in town. The cheap price at $5 will allow many people to purchase the magazine and allow people from different factions to buy the magazine.
The magazine should also be available in digital form to make sure the magazine is available very easily for the masses. The importance of the website of the magazine is viewed in the cover and it has become a new phenomema for big magazine brands like Vogue, Bazaar and Cosmopolitan amongst many others to have their magazines up on their websites as well. This increases the audience of the magazine greatly as international viewers can also read the magazine if they can not find them in their countries.
