Nefertiti Tomb

My design for the tomb of Nefertiti

Design

The tomb will be designed with beautiful Egyptian artwork on the walls based on that person's wealth and social class(royal, servant, commoner). Since Nefertiti is a woman of power she will have a very large tomb with everything ranging from gold to silver walls decorated with royal paintings and high-class everything.

Items

There will be statues to promote wealth and health in the afterlife. Also there will be many riches, gold, sliver, etc. Lets not forget about the famous sarcophagus! She is royalty so she will have a specially designed sarcophagus made out of valuable metals and jewels. 

Watching Over

The gods Anubis and Horus will be watching over you whilst you live on in the afterlife. As the protectors of you even in death. Horus is the god of the sky and Anubis is the god of death. I chose these gods specifically for her because Nefertiti needs powerful gods to watch over her and keep her safe

Messages

When someone dies they prepare a small message that will grant them into the glorious afterlife. This is a very important tradition and it was very important for some people of royal standards. Everyone wants to get to the afterlife and with a message you would  have an even greater chance.

I humbly pray you to open your golden gates to allow me into the great beyond

​Why

I decorated the tomb this way because I believe, even in death, Nefertiti deserves to have a glorious tomb. I buried the specific item because they promoted wealth and a long and happy life. I chose Anubis and Horus to be the guardians of this tomb because they are the opposite and I think that is a great thing. 

Horus being the sky god and Anubis being the god of death was a wonderfully different pairing so I chose those two to be guardians. My message was great because it had kindness and also a bit of asking in it, don't beg when you ask to be permitted into the afterlife but also don't be so needy.
