What did you do?

• Created 5 HTML/HTML5 "pens" with successive levels of detail and formatting
• Learned how to use Chrome Developer Tools to explore and modify HTML and CSS code on any webpage
• Learned successive levels of typographical formatting using CSS
• Created 1 HTML5 "pen" with sophisticated CSS formatting
• Posted 724 messages in Slack (public, private, dm)
• Read articles, conducted additional research, reviewed each other's code and blog posts

What did you learn?

• The difference between HTML and CSS
• The basic tags and structure necessary to display text in a well-designed manner
• The differences between various whitespace control characters
• The concept of emotional context as it relates to typography and punctuation
• There are many details behind the scenes that go into a well-designed website
