Influence of R2 FACs and boundary separation on SAPS
From 2015, we can derive ion and electron precipitation boundaries from POES satellite data.
AMPERE provides R2 FAC data.
R2 FACs should be equatorward of SAPS. Is this the case even for quiet time SAPS? Does this apply only at certain MLTs?
Does boundary separation happen at all MLTs and all geomagnetic conditions?
