The fourth Industrial Revolution is based on three historical processes that marked a change in the economy, technology and world order. In the middle of the 18th century, the first great Industrial Revolution took place with the arrival of the steam engine and hydraulic energy and process mechanization broke through, which allowed the income not only to depend on agriculture but to be articulated with the companies.

Towards the year 1870, there is the second Industrial Revolution with new technologies such as the telegraph, the gasoline car, the airplane, and energy sources that generated changes in business, scientific processes and, therefore, in society. With this the production times and quantities accelerated, which allowed to increase competitiveness.

In the mid-twentieth century, the third Industrial Revolution took place with the emergence of information and communication technologies, intelligent electricity networks and the use of renewable energy. These innovations allowed greater efficiency and automation in production, and a development of economies of scale.

Today, the Fourth Industrial Revolution is the result of the dynamism of technologies and the combination of digital and physical systems to improve the quality of life of the human being. In this sense, philosophy in the workplace and in the world 4.0 processes must be transformed; Teaching must overcome the conventional and move towards the use of digital tools, artificial intelligence and data analysis to form highly competitive people who respond to the demands of this world 4.0.
