INNpulsa, the High Impact Entrepreneurship and Innovation Colombia Agency called a public offering No. FMI-SBDC016-2015 for operation of the first 4 Small Business Development Centers.

A SBDC proposal was approved after being submitted jointly by The Santa Marta Chamber of Commerce and PPA stakeholders such as the University of Magdalena, FENALCO and Fundemicromag.

PROPOSAL: To contribute to MSMEs growth and consolidation through business creation, business strengthening and economic and social development generation

DESCRIPTION: The amount of money requested as MIF contributions is a US$400.000 grant for three years period timelapse until 2019. This accounts for roughly 70% of the total of proposed amount of the project (US$520.000)
Magdalena Regional Commission of Competitiveness
Development and implementation, on a commercial scale sustainable production model of vegetables to ensure stable and sufficient income to families of 200 single mothers linked to industry oil palm in the Department of Magdalena, with ability to replicate in other regions' Department
2. Acuiculture in Tenerife.
Provide fishermen's Association with culturally-sustainable productive model to grow fishes adapted within a framework of climate change mitigation for increasing their income, provide with nutrition of their families and minimize pressure on the ecosystem by overfishing and overfishing.
The project will demonstrates the possible innovations for small and medium scale producers at the Demostration and Trainning Farm (DTF) in Tenerife and Pivijay by educating farmers in the short term to well manage and administer the farm and in the long term by producing ennhanced milk and meat production.
