Question 2:

How does your media product represent particular social groups?

  1. Teenage Goths
In our final product, when we were trying to frame our teenage goth we were always trying to show him in more low angle shots, compared

to his alternative 'character' when he is at school and being very close to himself, to show that he feels much more empowered in his gothic clothing which makes him look like he has a higher status than if he were still in his school clothing. But we still show him in a couple of high angle shots to show that there is still some of that vulnerability still in him.

2. Adult business men

We don't show much of adult businessmen but we don't show them in the typical way of being very powerful and always in very high brow places. We have made him seem like a very secretive and out of the way person too keep away from people so that he doesn't get caught doing his very nasty deeds. This is shown by the location we have put him in but also by the use of dialogue we made him say plus the absence of a face is showing us he doesn't want to be seen.
