One day this came to me
The story of a stormy sea
A story of hate, loathing, and woe
And the problems these could sew
Is there hope? We shall deeply look
To see if cool heads can get them off the hood
Elaine electron loved to go
Here and there, never slow
So too was hate entrenched in her mind
Against every other one of her kind
Elliot, Erika, Erin, the worst
Eleonora, All of them she cursed
Mostly to ignore, only to repel
All electrons fell under her hate spell
Even as she ran, problems soon came
Of vacancies, phonons, and other long names
Those stopped her right fast
Though the pause did not last
None helped her at all; She worked on her own
Elaine had no place to call her home
Then God changed the world to 1 degree
A great transformation occurred on the dark sea
What was once a wild and turbulent place
Now became calm, Noise no longer common place
After this change, she heard a voice
Polly the proton, she began to rejoice
Polly's kind were Elaine's true loves
In this world, they began to feel her shoves
That simple move allowed them to speak
Although the volume was still quite weak
"Pause" Polly said "Before you go on a rant"
"Eleanora can see things that you just can't"
"Alright" she said. "I'll give it a try"
"But I talk through you. Let me say why"
"In my heart, I see you talk true.
But if I spoke to her, I'd beat her black blue"
So on they went, Polly relaying each word.
The improvement to speed was almost absurd.
All over the world the two of them flew.
Nothing stopping them. The path glorious and true.
