Multimedia & Design Workshop
for Panel Presentations
Final Reading Notes Comment -
When focusing on our readings this week, what was a direct quote or piece of advice given about professionalism related to Genre or the best way to handle giving a presentation about your research or topics? How do you deliver effective presentations?
CompCON!, is a series of panel presentations where YOU as a student share, interact, and perform for your audience (instructor, fellow classmates, visitors) connected to the research you've done this semester on your discourse community project. This is your chance to show off your project in a variety of ways during your scheduled panel - you will receive credit based on level of participation, Q&A, interactive components, and audience members will take notes and engage as well. This is the week where YOU get to highlight your project in style!
Come to your session with objects, artifacts, and actual content to show off during your panel. Brainstorm what you want to bring and set-up!
To grab your audience, what important visuals have you created, cultivated and actively used that you want to talk about during your panel?
What kinds of demonstrations, QR code activities, or handouts/materials will you make for your panel?
