I’m a Power Platform developer here at Insight, mainly focusing on PowerApps, SharePoint, and Power Automate with some Teams thrown in there from time to time. I’ve been working with Insight since 2018.

 

You can probably tell from my accent I’m not American. I moved here from Ireland in the summer of 2018 with my dog.

Return to Work Covid-19 App

It's a Covid-19 questionnaire app that assesses whether or not an employee can return to the workplace safely.

 

Functionality and stats:

 

• HR users can review, add notes, and resolve submissions.
• Regular users who can submit and view responses
• Superusers who can create, update, and delete HR users, locations, questionnaire features, etc.
• Kiosk user who can access one-time entry feature
• Notifications can be sent to HR users about submissions via Outlook or Teams
• Clean mobile-based UI
• 3 Countries across 135+ Locations totaling 50k+ submissions

 

Infopath Modernization using PowerApps

These are InfoPath forms that were modernized using PowerApps, Power Automate & Sharepoint.

 

Functionality and features:

 

• Variable-length forms from small (15-20 fields) to large (120+ fields)
• Edit/View mode giving the user the ability to not only submit but to view past submissions.
• A centralized search feature where users can easily access all other forms from the current form.
• Forms are hooked up to 2 service desks for automated ticket creation.
• Clean desktop-based UI
