CD INSPIRATION

Research

Here are some CD artwork that we like. We have chosen these based on different styles. 

• We like the illustrated and artistic (graffiti/geometric) covers as they represent the abstractness of the  indie pop genre well. 
• The covers with scenic photos are good because most indie pop music is produced and has videos shot in less known places, or really popular places known to people who like that genre, eg London, European Cities, places like San Francisco 

Research

We have chosen these covers as they have a similar concept to what we would like ours to reflect. There are lots of artistic and edited covers for the indie pop genre, with pictures of the artist or it tends to be a minimalist style with one main image. 

For our cover we are considering using a picture of the artist, or a shot from the music video (like the M83 video) as we feel this best represents our song. We will do further audience research before deciding.
