Target Audience Profile:
- As indie pop music attracts a global audience, there is a range of ethnicities entwined with this genre but it is likely to attract mainly a white audience
- Both sexes, but mostly dominated by a female audience
- Ages 15 - 20, but likely to attract a younger audience
- As the ages vary, the younger audience (15-18) are usually students so depend on their parents income, whereas 18-20 year olds are likely to be higher education students with part time employment
- On the NRS social scale our audience is likely to be C1 - D. The younger audience are likely to have parents who fit in to the C1-C2 grade. The students are likely to be C2/D.
Target Audience Profile:
- Indie pop audiences are likely to attract the explorer who values new ideas and experiences. As young people who are interested in this genre tend to be more open minded and independent thinkers, they would value a narrative style video which emphasises mystery and curiosity
