Intellectual Wellness
Spiritual Wellness
Social Wellness
Occupational Wellness
I believe I sustain my intellectual wellness by coding and writing. As a software engineering student, I am often mentally challenged in terms of solving problems of various regards. Additionally, my interest in films propagates my creativity in terms of writing scripts and ideas down and thinking about making them logistically.
I believe my interaction with my spiritual wellness to be strong due to my culture. As an Indian, Hinduism has played a significant part of my life and it has given me an interesting perspective to look at my life from. Sometimes the music I listen to and taking a walk outside help me keep my spiritual wellness intact and ever so flowing in my life.
In my life, I have noticed that many of the social instances I have had or opportunities to make really impactful friends or connections have always been surface level or have exited from my life due to the circumstances I am in. Moving countries, then moving states, and changing my academic environment have all had effects on my social wellness. Although I can sustain conversations and be sociable, it is a source of a little stress in typical social situations because I haven't experienced impactful relationships, whether it be with friends of with partners.
I understand the importance of having a career and what it means to have a career in this day and age. As a student of software engineering, I often tend to think about job opportunities, the competitive and volatile nature of the tech industry. Sometimes changing industries into something more creative seems appealing but I still have certain questions about the future in terms of my career and I hope to improve my sense of purpose in terms of my occupation, career, and worth.
