Adding links

Links can open an external web page or another slide in your presentation. Links are not clickable while you are editing, but they work in preview and presentation views.

There are two different places where links can be inserted in the Slides editor:

The easiest way to add a link is to make the whole content block clickable. Click on a content block and look for the "Link" option in the left toolbar to get started.

By default links will point to an external website or URL, but you can easily change the "Target" if you want to link to an internal slide instead. When linking to internal slides we recommend naming the slides you want to link to. You can name your slides using the Slide Settings interface.

Select text, then choose the link option in the text toolbar and enter the destination.

To point inline text to another slide, use #/<slide-number> or #/<slide-name>. Slide numbers are zero-indexed, so #/2 points to the third slide. For vertical slides, #/3/1 points to the second vertical slide beneath the fourth horizontal slide.
