Drawing, lines and arrows

Use freehand drawing, lines, and arrows to annotate a slide, connect ideas, or draw attention to important content.

Draw freehand

Select Pen from the insert toolbar, then draw directly on the slide. This works well for quick annotations and hand-drawn details.

Use the drawing toolbar to choose a color and adjust the thickness of your strokes.

Add a line or arrow

  1. Select Line or Arrow from the insert toolbar.
  2. Click and drag across the slide to draw it.
  3. Drag either endpoint to change its direction or length.

With the line selected, use the block toolbar to change its style, thickness, color, and start or end markers. Available markers include arrows, circles, squares, and crosses, so a regular line can be turned into an arrow at either end.
