Embedding decks

Your presentations on Slides can easily be embedded inside of other pages such as personal sites, blogs or news articles.

How to embed a Slides presentation

  1. Open the Share popup from a profile, editor, or presentation page.

  1. Configure the embed. Some options require a paid plan.

  1. Copy the generated code that appears below the options and paste it into the HTML source of your site.

First slide

Embedded presentations start at the first slide by default. If you want your embed to start on a different slide follow these steps:

  1. Open the presentation viewer
  2. Navigate to the slide you want to start on
  3. Press the "Share" button
  4. Turn on "Start embed on current slide" in the embed options

Restrict where your deck can be embedded (Pro/Team)

When embedding a private presentation, you can restrict which websites are allowed to embed it. This prevents someone from copying the link and embedding it elsewhere. This option is only available for private presentations.

Advanced

The embed API lets the parent page track the current slide and navigate the presentation programmatically.
