Save a deck as a PDF

Lite / Pro

Sharing a deck on Slides is usually as simple as sending a link, but a single PDF file can be more convenient for archiving, attaching to an email, or sharing with people who prefer a document. To export a PDF, open the Export panel in the editor sidebar and select Download PDF.

Download PDF option in the Export panel

PDF exports do not support animations or iframes. If you need an export that keeps your deck fully interactive offline, use an HTML export instead.

Export options

Select Options beside Download PDF to choose what the PDF includes:

  • Print slide numbers adds a number to each page.
  • Print speaker notes includes your speaker notes.
  • Print fragments on separate pages creates a page for each step of your fragments.

The slide number and speaker note options start from your deck's Slide numbers and Share notes settings. Slides remembers the options you choose for your next export.

Use Margin to set the amount of space between your content and the edge of the page.
